FAQ: When departments buy a PC/notebook, do they need to buy a Windows License?

YES. The Microsoft Campus Agreement only cover the Windows OS upgrade, so you need a Windows license to enjoy the upgrade. Windows OEM license come with PC cannot transfer to other PC. Please kindly check the Software Site Licenses covered by OCIO.
